The City Manager’s Office is responsible for the implementation of decisions established by the City Council and the coordination of those efforts through the various City departments.
Primary Responsibilities
The City Manager’s office includes:
- Budget development
- Communication services of the City
- Economic development
- Elections
- Legislative support
- Policy implementation
- Strategic planning
Additional Responsibilities
In addition, the office provides leadership for the operational departments, is responsible for representing the City’s interests throughout the region, and keeps the council informed of important community issues.
